Delete your account

You can delete your Quirky account whenever you want, without asking anyone's permission. There are two ways.

Option 1 — In the app (recommended)

Open Quirky and sign in.
Tap your profile, then Settings.
Scroll to Account controls.
Tap Delete account and confirm.

If you signed up with email and password, we will ask for your password to confirm it is you. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.

Before deleting: if you want a copy of your data, use Settings → Export my data first. Nothing can be recovered after deletion.

Option 2 — Without the app

If you uninstalled the app or lost access, write to firenze@firenzeprogramacao.com.br with the subject "Quirky account deletion", stating your registered email. We may ask for confirmation to make sure the request is really yours. We complete it within 15 days.

What gets erased

your profile and all your personal information;
your quirks, photos and videos;
your matches and all your conversations;
the likes (Would Date) you sent and received;
your testimonies;
your selfie and profile verification request;
your notification identifiers;
your sign-in credential.

Removal starts immediately and completes within 30 days, including backups.

What we must keep

Access logs (date, time and IP) for 6 months, as required by art. 15 of the Brazilian Internet Act (Law 12.965/2014). This period runs even after the account is deleted.
A minimal record of blocks and reports, where needed to protect other people from repeat offences.

None of this allows your profile to be rebuilt, and none of it is visible to any user.
